Role overview
This internship sits within the merchandising function and supports day-to-day planning, reporting, and stock control to help keep products available and sales performance on track. The role is centered on data handling, store coordination, and turning product information into useful business insights. The primary focus will be on Leather Goods and Accessories, while support may also extend to other product categories when required.
Key responsibilities
- Update and maintain weekly merchandising reports to monitor sales trends and inventory movement.
- Prepare and manage ST (Stock Transfer / Sales Tracking) reports to inform stock-related decisions.
- Coordinate with stores on requests such as OOZ (Out-of-Stock) cases and help ensure quick follow-up and replenishment.
- Assist with HQ rebalancing activities and support TS (Target Stock) planning to keep stock levels balanced.
- Create and maintain MTD (Month-to-Date) trackers to measure performance against targets.
- Support reporting needs during buying cycles, including preview and markdown reporting.
- Collect feedback from stores and help with simple trend analysis on products and business performance.
