The selected professional will oversee the bank’s Funds Transfer Pricing framework and system from end to end, helping shape pricing discipline, profitability assessment, and ALCO-level decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for the FTP process and ensure it is operated in line with the approved policy and governance standards.
- Serve as the system owner for FTP, covering configuration, curve building, product allocation, and ongoing parameter updates.
- Work closely with internal IT teams, vendors, and outside consultants to deliver improvements and maintain reliable data quality.
- Lead the monthly FTP production cycle, making sure it is completed on time with accurate outputs, reconcilations, and control checks.
- Prepare FTP analysis and business insights for ALCO, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and other stakeholders to support balance sheet and pricing decisions.
- Explain FTP effects on product and customer profitability to business teams in a clear and practical way.
- Act as the main contact for Internal Audit, External Audit, and regulatory stakeholders on all FTP-related questions and reviews.
- Regularly assess the FTP methodology and suggest improvements to reflect balance sheet changes, market movements, and regulatory updates.
Requirements
- 5 to 6 years of relevant banking experience, ideally with strong exposure to Funds Transfer Pricing, ALM, Treasury, or balance sheet management.
- Practical experience working with FTP systems and methods, including configuration, curve construction, and product mapping.
- Good understanding of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and the economics of funding.
- Experience interacting with ALCO, internal audit, external audit, and/or regulators on FTP matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to take ownership in a structured environment.
