Role overview
Restaurant Associates is seeking a committed Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen in Birmingham. This is a full-time position of 35 hours per week. The role is focused on keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and operating efficiently while delivering excellent customer care.
You will be joining a business that values individuality, invests in its people, and recognises those who contribute above and beyond. The position is based on day shifts from Monday to Friday, with no listed working pattern for Saturday or Sunday.
Key responsibilities
- Keep kitchen areas consistently clean and maintained to a high standard.
- Work efficiently in a busy environment to support the preparation of fresh food.
- Ensure chefs have the tools, items, and support they need to prepare dishes.
- Help prepare well-made drinks and serve food to a high standard.
- Contribute positively as a cooperative and enthusiastic member of the team.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I professionally and help uphold the brand’s image.
- Follow Food Handling and Hygiene requirements at all times.
- Work in line with Health and Safety rules and procedures.
