Java Full Stack Lead

Role overview

Hexaware Technologies is hiring an experienced Java Full Stack Lead to work on enterprise web applications and API-driven systems. The role calls for strong hands-on expertise across Java, Spring-based frameworks, REST services, database integration, and modern front-end development using React or Angular.

What the role involves

• Build and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and modern UI technologies.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP services, including API design, documentation, and testing.
• Apply design patterns and engineering best practices while working on application architecture.
• Work with microservice-based solutions and contribute to implementation using relevant frameworks and patterns.
• Handle database integration with RDBMS platforms such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, including stored procedures, complex queries, performance tuning, and transaction handling.
• Develop front-end features with Angular 14+ or React JS 18, along with JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Use tools and practices related to Webpack, CLI, Agile Scrum, Jenkins, CI workflows, and code quality processes.
• Participate in unit testing, mocking, integration testing, and overall quality assurance for the delivered code.
• Work with cloud platforms and deployment environments when needed, with exposure to AWS, Azure, or PCF being a plus.

Experience expectations

• At least 10 years of overall experience with strong hands-on work in Java, Spring Framework, REST API, JPA, Hibernate, unit testing, and React or Angular.
• At least 7 years of deep experience in core Java, Spring frameworks, Hibernate, and SOAP/REST services.
• At least 2 years of experience in application design, design patterns, and design principles.
• At least 2 years of experience with RDBMS integration and SQL tasks using JPA-Hibernate.
• At least 3 years of strong experience in Angular 14+ or React JS 18.

Technical requirements

• Strong command of Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Batch, and Spring Data.
• Solid experience in Spring Boot configuration, annotations, REST development, and microservice principles.
• Experience in Swagger/OpenAPI for REST HTTP service design.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, mocking frameworks, integration testing, and code quality tooling.
• Working knowledge of Agile Scrum, Webpack, CLI, and CI tools such as Jenkins.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment practices is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
