Role overview
For a growing interdisciplinary environment in Frankfurt Rhine-Main, this role focuses on keeping the IT landscape stable, responsive, and well maintained across Windows, Linux, Microsoft, and Mac systems.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and troubleshoot incidents at second-level support depth.
- Receive IT support requests and resolve issues both on-site and with remote support tools.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations in Windows and Linux environments.
- Improve, maintain, and support the client and server infrastructure.
- Keep the client environment running reliably across Microsoft and Mac systems.
- Handle incident management and restore service during disruptions.
Required profile
- Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Microsoft 365 products.
- Knowledge of network administration, mobile device management, and client management.
- Confident use of virtualization solutions such as Proxmox and VMware.
- Strong communication skills.
- Very good German language skills.
