Role Overview

This position is for an Instructional Designer based in Hyderabad, India. The role calls for 8 to 10 years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development, with strong exposure to SME collaboration, WalkMe, and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply foundational instructional design principles, models, and learning theories to build effective training solutions.
• Collect and analyze learning requirements before designing the solution approach.
• Prepare instructional strategy documents that align with business and learning goals.
• Develop detailed storyboards and supporting learning assets for course creation.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts to gather the information needed for eLearning development.
• Design application-focused learning content and build practical course materials.
• Record and edit software simulations where required.
• Create course designs, work instructions, and quick reference guides.
• Select instructional methods and strategies that best support the desired learning outcomes.
• Coordinate directly with clients for requirement discussions and progress updates.
• Handle project planning tasks related to timelines, staffing, budgeting, and quality control.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, ARCS, and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
• Practical experience with eLearning authoring and development tools including Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Whatfix, SAP EnableNow, and WalkMe.
• Experience creating application-based learning content.
• Ability to record and edit simulations.
• Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with SMEs and clients to capture requirements and provide status updates.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
• Project management awareness covering timelines, resources, budgeting, and quality.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold any graduate degree and should have 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
