What the Role Involves

As an Installer, you will handle the safe and efficient delivery, assembly, and installation of items such as home appliances, furniture, and electronic products at customer sites. The position is key to delivering a smooth customer experience and ensuring each product is set up correctly and works as expected.

Responsibilities

• Move and deliver items safely to homes or business locations.
• Assemble, unpack, and install products according to the manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures.
• Perform checks before installation and verify functionality after setup.
• Explain product operation, basic upkeep, and simple troubleshooting steps to customers.
• Respond to customer questions or concerns in a professional and polite manner.
• Prepare and submit all required records, such as installation notes, delivery proof, and customer feedback.
• Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper working condition.
• Follow safety rules and company guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer support teams to complete installations on schedule.
• Spot and report any defects or damage found during the installation process.

Requirements

• High school completion or an equivalent qualification is required; additional vocational training or certification in appliance repair, electronics installation, or a related area is advantageous.
• Prior experience in installation, assembly, or a similar hands-on role.
• Good mechanical understanding and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and repeat manual tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well.
• Willingness to work changing schedules, including evenings and weekends when needed.
