Housekeeping Assistant

Overview

This role supports daily cleanliness and presentation standards in a healthcare setting. The person hired will be responsible for keeping the facility neat, safe, and welcoming while following applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.

Housekeeping and Laundry Duties

In addition to housekeeping tasks, this position also covers laundry support. Duties include collecting items for washing, sorting them, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing them. The selected candidate will work across both housekeeping and laundry functions.

Day-to-Day Cleaning Work

Core responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying waste containers, cleaning surfaces and areas as needed, replenishing supplies, and mopping floors.

Education, Experience, and Licensure

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is also preferred.

Job Requirements

The role calls for sound judgment when situations require independent decision-making. The candidate should be able to maintain professional working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and others, while also showing strong customer service skills and a positive approach toward patients.
