Role Overview
This position supports the day-to-day guest service activities in a serviced residence. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment that helps residents feel at home while ensuring a high level of satisfaction. The role reports to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Guest Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with arrival and departure procedures at the front desk.
- Make sure every resident receives prompt attention and assistance.
- Prepare and issue access key cards for apartments.
- Respond proactively to residents’ questions, requests, and service needs.
- Share recommendations for nearby facilities and attractions, and help arrange travel, tours, and restaurant bookings.
- Maintain resident profiles, account details, and apartment availability records in the system.
- Carry out basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Process and verify reservations.
- Assist in onboarding new employees.
- Handle enquiries received through walk-ins, email, and phone, and support follow-up requests.
- Document resident feedback and complaints and escalate them to supervisors or managers as needed.
- Pass messages to residents quickly and accurately.
- Safeguard cash, as well as residents’ valuables and personal belongings.
- Take on any other related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally gained in the hospitality sector.
- Fresh entrants with a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a similar qualification may also apply.
- A strong service mindset and guest-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and handle a range of duties, including administrative paperwork.
- Prepared to work on shifts.
