Role overview

Stripe is hiring a consultative and inventive recruiter to help grow and scale its Go-to-Market (GTM) organization across AMER. This group includes Sales, Marketing and Sales Development, GTM and Product Operations, and Professional Services. The role involves full-cycle recruiting, influencing hiring strategy, and delivering an excellent candidate experience. Responsibilities

  • Create and run sourcing strategies that attract strong and diverse talent for both immediate hiring needs and future pipelines.
  • Research the market regularly to understand talent trends and use that insight to shape recruiting decisions and solve hiring challenges.
  • Work with senior leaders to understand hiring priorities and design recruiting plans that support headcount goals, especially across the US, LatAm, and Canada.
  • Monitor recruiting data, summarize progress, and share updates with business leaders to keep hiring efforts transparent and aligned.
  • Suggest and roll out scalable improvements to recruiting methods that increase effectiveness and reach.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance, People Ops, Benefits, Onboarding, and Legal to ensure candidates have a smooth, high-quality experience.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, including in-house experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and influence decisions effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and engaging top talent while maintaining candidate relationships.
  • Ability to use data insights to spot trends and improve recruiting processes for better outcomes.
  • Comfort working in changing environments and shifting priorities when needed.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar tools.
  • Preferred: experience using sourcing and CRM tools such as Gem or LinkedIn Recruiter to manage talent pipelines.
  • Preferred: familiarity with recruiting analytics and reporting tools used to guide hiring strategy.
  • Preferred: exposure to scheduling, communication, and collaboration tools such as GoodTime, Slack, and G Suite.
  • Preferred: ability to quickly adopt new recruiting technologies and improve workflows at scale.

Work model

This position can be based in an office or in a remote location at least 35 miles (56 kilometers) from a Stripe office. Office-based employees are expected to spend at least 50% of each month in their local office or with users. Remote employees are generally expected to work from home and may travel for team meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events. Stripe does not provide relocation support for remote placements.

Pay and benefits

The annual US base salary range for this role is $104,600 to $156,800. For sales roles, this range refers to on-target earnings and includes both base pay and commission/bonus targets. The final range may vary by level, experience, qualifications, and location, and candidates outside the US may ask for location-specific compensation during the interview process.
