Role Summary

This position is responsible for carrying out repair, preventive maintenance, and installation work on electro-mechanical production equipment as well as complex site infrastructure. The role is expected to function with limited supervision and to apply knowledge gained through formal learning, practical training, and self-directed study.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will support the upkeep, repair, and installation of production and facility equipment, with particular attention to cleaning systems, wastewater treatment, RO/de-ionized water systems, and scrubber systems. The role also includes safety, quality, inventory, and coordination duties.

Requirements

Applicants should hold a diploma in a technical field and bring at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience. Practical experience with maintenance and repairs is required, along with exposure to wastewater plant operations. Mechanical skills and basic electrical knowledge are necessary, as well as troubleshooting ability, a team-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, and clear communication.

Safety and Compliance

The role requires safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals. The technician must follow safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements, take part in quality assurance and safety programs, complete assigned training, and recognize deviations from the quality system.

Preferred Background

Experience in the chemical or semiconductor industry is preferred.
