About the Role
This opportunity is for an Executive Assistant supporting the Managing Director and Board of a globally recognised luxury retail house in Dublin 1. The position is confidential and sits at the centre of senior leadership operations, requiring strong judgement, anticipation, and a high level of discretion.
The role goes beyond standard calendar or inbox administration. It calls for someone who can stay ahead of priorities, manage sensitive information carefully, and keep a senior office running smoothly in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide direct support to the Managing Director and assist the Board with coordination, communication, and administration.
- Manage the Managing Director’s diary and inbox proactively, prioritising tasks without waiting for direction.
- Handle sensitive correspondence with confidence and discretion.
- Prepare board-ready presentations, reports, and briefing documents.
- Organise travel, expenses, and day-to-day administrative support for the leadership office.
- Take full ownership of board meeting arrangements, including agendas, papers, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate travel and events for board members.
- Maintain visibility on cross-functional projects and senior stakeholder activity.
- Support ad hoc projects where sound judgement and careful execution are essential.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-suite or Board-level leaders.
- Background in a fast-paced, high-volume, global organisation.
- Strong composure when handling competing demands and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Discretion and confidentiality as standard practice.
- Advanced Microsoft Office capability, with expert-level Outlook calendar and inbox management.
- Clear, collaborative, and solutions-focused communication across all levels of the organisation.
- Full legal permission to work in Ireland.
Working Arrangement
This is a fully on-site role based in Dublin 1.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm.
Remuneration is described as highly competitive and reflects the seniority of the position.
