Role Overview
In this caregiver role, you will help participants build confidence, maintain daily routines, and enjoy meaningful community involvement. The work centers on supporting independence while also providing compassionate assistance to people with developmental goals and more complex support needs.
What You Will Do
- Provide caring, rewarding support that helps individuals learn, develop, and live well.
- Build positive, genuine relationships with the people you assist.
- Work with a high level of trust and autonomy from leadership to make participant-focused decisions.
- Encourage community participation and support involvement in favorite activities.
- Assist with goals such as budgeting, physical activity, and nutrition.
- Help participants with personal hygiene and everyday personal care needs.
- Support individuals who may experience behavioral challenges or other complex needs.

Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- At least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management skills.
- A patient, compassionate, dependable, and responsible approach to work.
