Role Overview

Urbane Systems is seeking a Deskside Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support in Washington, DC. This is a full-time position that requires working onsite five days a week. The role is intended for an experienced IT professional with active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 deskside or systems support to end users and enterprise systems.
  • Handle Windows and macOS imaging, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Support users and devices in enterprise or federal operating environments.
  • Work with on-premises Active Directory and cloud identity platforms such as Azure AD.
  • Investigate and resolve endpoint connectivity and networking-related issues.
  • Use endpoint and systems management tools such as MECM, Intune, or Jamf.
  • Juggle multiple requests and priorities while keeping work accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Communicate effectively with users and collaborate well across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of progressive IT experience supporting deskside or systems operations at Tier 2/3 level.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • An active Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Windows and macOS environments, including imaging and deployment processes.
  • Solid understanding of networking basics and troubleshooting endpoint connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise support tools and user/device management platforms.
