Overview

This contract-to-hire opportunity is for a Data Analyst focused on payroll and benefits operations in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The position is based onsite in the DTC area and is expected to run for about 5 to 6 months before potential conversion, supported by the organization’s continued growth. The role reports to the Payroll & Benefits Manager and centers on turning HR, payroll, and benefits data into clear reporting and practical insights.

Work Schedule and Location

The role is onsite in Greenwood Village, CO (DTC). Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Onsite parking is available.

Compensation

The pay range for this assignment is $37.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, update, and interpret payroll and benefits reports using HRIS platforms, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Examine HR and payroll information, spot patterns, and share practical recommendations with leadership.
  • Check data for accuracy and correct inconsistencies across payroll, benefits, and HR systems.
  • Help develop dashboards, improve reporting outputs, and streamline existing processes.
  • Handle employee information carefully and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Assist payroll and benefits teams with reporting requests, compliance-related audits, and ongoing data work.
  • Investigate reporting issues and independently research workable solutions when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 to 2+ years of experience supporting HR, payroll, benefits, reporting, or data analysis functions.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capability, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data manipulation, merging, and reporting.
  • Experience with Power BI or a comparable reporting and data visualization tool.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, UKG, ADP, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
  • Well-developed organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
