Role overview

Spencer Recruitment is partnering with the Disability Federation of Ireland to hire a Communications Manager. DFI is a nationwide disability federation that brings together more than 100 member organisations. Its purpose is to work alongside members, disabled people, allies and the State to advance genuine inclusion and equality across Irish society.

This role suits an accomplished communications professional who wants to contribute to a mission-driven organisation focused on disability advocacy, member outreach and public awareness. The Communications Manager will support the delivery of high-quality communications for DFI, its member bodies and the wider stakeholder community.

Key responsibilities

  • Shape and roll out DFI’s communications plan.
  • Coordinate internal and external messaging across several communication channels.
  • Produce engaging written, visual and digital material.
  • Oversee the organisation’s website, social media presence, newsletters and CRM-led communications.
