Business Systems Analyst

Role overview

The Business Systems Analyst will support day-to-day business operations by turning data into useful reports, dashboards, and insights. The position focuses on managing databases and records, maintaining training-related information, and helping ensure reporting is accurate and administration runs smoothly.

This role also involves building visual reports, working with business intelligence tools, improving workflows, and supporting the effective use of enterprise systems and digital platforms. The person in this role will collaborate with internal stakeholders to review operational, workforce, and training data and use that analysis to support decisions and process improvements.

What you will do

• Analyze operational, workforce, and training information to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting outputs using business intelligence tools.
• Handle databases, records, and large data sets while protecting data quality and accuracy.
• Prepare management reports and convert raw data into practical business recommendations.
• Support workflow optimization and other process improvement efforts.
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and improve system usage.
• Assist with training administration, employee development, onboarding, or workforce development activities when needed.
• Use AI-enabled productivity and analysis tools to improve reporting, content preparation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• Preferred academic performance of at least 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0.
• Between 3 and 10 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, reporting, or a similar area.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced reporting.
• Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data visualization and business intelligence methods.
• Ability to manage databases and large datasets with careful attention to integrity and accuracy.
• Experience preparing management-level reports and turning data into clear business insights.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools for productivity, analytics, and workflow improvement.
• Knowledge of LMS and HR systems, along with training administration processes, is an advantage.
• Background in coordinating training, employee development, onboarding, or workforce programs is preferred.
• Understanding of process improvement and workflow optimization practices.
• Professional certifications in data analytics, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, business intelligence, project management, or related areas are preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work with different stakeholders.
• Good organization and reporting skills.

Additional information

This position is with Alfalak Electronic Equipment & Supplies Co. and is based in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. Employment type is full-time and the work arrangement is onsite.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems (MIS), or a related discipline.

Experience

3 to 10 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, reporting, analytics, or closely related work.
