Role overview

This position is for candidates based in Ireland and can be performed remotely from Ireland or in a hybrid arrangement from the Dublin office. As a Business Development Representative, you will identify and engage companies that are a strong fit for the business by using targeted outreach. Your outreach will mainly happen through phone calls, email, and social media messaging.

In conversations with prospects, you will uncover their business challenges and assess whether the product can solve their needs. Once a lead is qualified, your task is to clearly explain the value proposition and secure interest in a follow-up discussion with an Account Executive.

You will work with 2 to 3 Account Executives and partner with other BDRs each day to create effective approaches for discovering new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Run a high-volume outreach cadence to connect with qualified leads, including new users and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to build and execute effective prospecting plans.
  • Book online product demos for qualified leads while consistently working toward monthly targets.
  • Use sales qualification methods such as BANT to understand customer needs and pain points.
  • Research the market to expand the company’s customer base.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in building a career in technology sales.
  • Previous experience in sales, prospecting, or a fast-growing scale-up environment is not mandatory, but would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; another East or Central European language is considered a plus.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to hitting targets.
  • Comfortable handling objections and open to coaching and feedback.
  • Well-developed organisation and time management abilities.
  • Genuine interest in helping businesses grow and curiosity about the technology sector.

Perks and benefits

  • Hybrid working arrangement that supports different work preferences.
  • Access to supportive teammates and a mentor for guidance.
  • Structured employee training and a one-month onboarding program.
  • Clear progression opportunities with regular promotion pathways.
  • Education support of up to €4,250 per year and a free books program.
  • Flexible paid leave in addition to 25 days of annual paid time off.
  • Mental health support through coaching and sessions via the Modern Health app.
  • Additional benefits such as life assurance, long-term illness cover, and up to €250 fitness reimbursement.

Compensation

The annual cash compensation range for this role is €45,000 to €61,000. This range may include base salary, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets where applicable. Some roles may also include eligibility for RSUs as part of the equity plan. Final compensation is determined using objective, role-related criteria such as skills, experience, and qualifications.

Additional information

This is an evergreen hiring role, meaning applications are reviewed throughout the year and the team may contact candidates if a suitable opening exists now or later.

The company notes that fair pay practices are part of its commitment to transparency, and that benefits are an important part of total compensation.

Applicants who need adjustments or support because of a disability can request assistance during the process. If travel or similar constraints require a different arrangement, candidates should let the recruiter know so alternative options can be explored.

For some locations, there are specific legal and policy notices for applicants, including Massachusetts, Germany, and India.
