Business Analyst

Overview

This is a contract-to-hire remote opportunity with a fast-growing robotics company that uses AI and automation to improve operations. The business is looking for someone who can take large volumes of operational data and turn them into clear insights that support leadership decisions and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets kept in AWS-based environments and data lakes.
• Create dashboards and reports in Grafana to track performance and trends.
• Convert operational and analytical findings into business stories and ROI-focused insights.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand and define business needs.
• Prepare polished reports and presentations for executive and C-suite stakeholders.
• Measure and communicate outcomes such as efficiency improvements, return on investment, reduced food waste, and overall operational performance.

What the Role Requires

• Solid background in business intelligence, analytics, and reporting.
• Ability to tie data insights back to business goals and strategy.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data environments and dashboard tools, with Grafana as a preferred platform.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery.
• Comfort interacting with customers and senior leadership.
• Capability to work through complex datasets and recommend practical actions.

Additional Considerations

• Background in data engineering is a plus.
• Experience in restaurant, retail, robotics, or operations analytics would be advantageous.
• Open to candidates based in the US, Canada, or LATAM.
• This is a contract-to-hire position.
