BOQ Executive

Role overview

This role focuses on bill of quantities (BOQ) work for QSR projects, covering construction, interior fit-outs, and renovation activity. The position is centered on building accurate cost plans, material schedules, and labor estimates so project budgets stay controlled during new restaurant openings and rollout work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates based on architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Create tender documents and assess contractor and vendor quotations to secure competitive pricing.
• Track market pricing trends and maintain benchmark rates for effective cost control.
• Visit project sites to confirm that construction and fit-out work matches approved drawings and BOQ standards.
• Check and certify subcontractor and supplier invoices, flagging mismatches or inflated claims.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and contractors to keep projects moving on schedule while maintaining workmanship quality.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying is preferred.
• About 2 to 8 years of experience in interior fit-outs, construction audits, or project management, especially in QSR, retail, or FMCG environments.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings and work comfortably with cost analysis and estimation tasks.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good negotiation skills, rate comparison ability, and coordination across multiple stakeholders.

Additional information

This opportunity is based in Thane, India and requires working from the office. The compensation mentioned is INR 7,00,000 to 8,00,000 per year.
