Role overview
HTC Global Services is seeking an AI Test Engineer for a one-year contract that can be extended, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with on-site work required. The company is a global IT and business process services provider established in 1990 and headquartered in Troy, Michigan, USA.
About the position
This opportunity is focused on testing conversational AI and airline booking solutions. The right candidate will have practical exposure to chatbot or conversational booking projects and strong automation testing experience, especially in building automated frameworks and checking AI-led booking journeys end to end.
Key responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and support automated test frameworks for conversational booking products.
- Automate complete booking flows and chatbot interactions from start to finish.
- Assess AI and LLM outputs for correctness, relevance, intent alignment, and dependable behavior.
- Carry out functional, regression, integration, API, and UAT testing activities.
- Write and run automated test cases with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or comparable platforms.
- Perform API validation using Postman and Swagger.
- Record defects, maintain test artefacts, and work closely with development teams to raise product quality.
Required profile
- At least 4 years of software testing experience, with a strong emphasis on automation.
- Practical experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
- Ability to script in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on exposure to testing conversational AI or chatbot-based applications.
- Experience with API validation using Postman or Swagger.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and TestRail.
- Understanding of AI/LLM testing approaches, prompt checks, and response evaluation.
- Prior work in airline, travel, or booking applications is preferred.
Preferred background
- Experience designing automation frameworks specifically for AI or chatbot testing.
- Exposure to airline reservation systems or conversational booking platforms.
- Familiarity with testing methods used for generative AI solutions.
Additional information
This is a contract role for 1 year with the possibility of extension. The position is onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Interested candidates are expected to share an updated CV along with their current CTC, expected CTC, and notice period details.
