Overview
Variety Foods Ltd. is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations at its Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador location.
Languages
English
Education
You should have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma credential from a program lasting at least 3 months but less than 1 year, or an equivalent level of experience.
Experience
Previous experience is considered an asset.
Work arrangement
This role is based on site and must be carried out at the physical workplace. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming phone calls and pass on messages or calls to the right person.
- Welcome visitors and guide them to the appropriate contact or department.
- Enter and update information accurately in systems or records.
- Assist customers with inquiries and general service needs.
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge: Sage Accounting Software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Word.
Industry experience: Food industry background.
Additional information
Transportation/travel: A personal vehicle or other own transportation is required.
