About the role
As an Account Executive, you will own a defined geographic territory and operate as part of a collaborative team. Your focus will be on generating new business through multiple outreach channels, identifying and qualifying prospects, and creating account and opportunity plans that convert into software license, maintenance, and services revenue.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position is ideal for someone who wants to shape, grow, and manage their own business portfolio in a team-oriented sales environment. This is a remote position, and it requires some regional and international travel across ANZ.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Reach out to prospective customers through a variety of channels.
- Sell enterprise solutions to organisations with more than 1,500 users.
- Use consultative selling methods to help customers understand their industry challenges and how the solutions can address their technology needs.
- Work with a virtual account team across the full customer journey, including marketing for lead generation, business development representatives for qualification, pre-sales engineers for technical input, and customer success managers for renewals after the first sale.
- Take part in team discussions and stay in regular contact with professional services and engineering teams to support customer satisfaction.
- Use existing channel partnerships to strengthen the company’s presence in your region and build proactive relationships with key influencers, both within customer organisations and with third parties.
- Manage post-sale customer issues such as support escalations and identifying additional training requirements.

- Experience handling relationship-based selling at executive level.
