About the internship

Takeoff Media is an AI-driven video production studio that crafts cinematic stories for weddings, families, companies, and brands. Based in Chennai, the company has produced more than 200 AI-created brand videos across 10+ industries, including corporate, educational, food and agro-processing, and family celebration projects. It also runs a GenAI prompt-engineering literacy program called A to Z AI Prompting for students and working professionals.

This internship is for a Story Partner Intern who will help spread awareness of Takeoff Media’s storytelling services in their city, college, family circle, and wider community. The role focuses on lead generation, introductions to interested clients, and being the local point of contact so clients feel informed and supported throughout the project. The in-house team manages pricing, creative direction, production, editing, and delivery.

What you will do

• Identify and share qualified leads from your personal, college, and professional circles.
• Present Takeoff Media’s service offerings to potential clients.
• Reach out to wedding planners, photographers, event organizers, families, entrepreneurs, and businesses.
• Arrange introductory discussions or meetings with the internal team.
• Serve as the local relationship contact for clients during the project lifecycle.
• Support communication flow, capture basic client needs, collect feedback, and ensure prompt follow-ups.
• Develop lasting client connections that can result in repeat work and referrals.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 3rd Jul'26 and 7th Aug'26, can commit to a 2-month internship, and have relevant interests and skills. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply. College students and fresh graduates from any field are welcome. Applicants should have strong communication skills, comfort in networking and relationship building, confidence in speaking with people, interest in marketing, business development, and storytelling, basic familiarity with social media platforms, and a professional, learning-oriented attitude.

Compensation and additional details

The stipend is between INR 6,000 and 11,000 per month. The pay structure includes a fixed amount of ₹1,000 per month plus incentive pay of ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per month. In addition, you can earn a 10% commission on every successful project referred by you. Example earnings mentioned include ₹2,500 commission on a ₹25,000 project, ₹5,000 on a ₹50,000 project, and ₹7,500 on a ₹75,000 project. There is no cap on earning potential.
