About the internship
This six-month, full-time in-office internship is based in Pune and begins immediately. The role sits at the intersection of accounting, banking coordination, and business support, offering hands-on exposure to financial operations within a research and advisory environment focused on market intelligence and ESG strategy.
Accounting and financial management
- Keep books of account accurate and up to date by recording all financial transactions.
- Prepare ledgers, cash books, and bank books, and carry out bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, audit work, and month-end or year-end closing tasks.
Banking operations
- Act as a company representative for banking documentation and related procedures.
- Manage cheque deposits, collections, account opening or maintenance formalities, and KYC updates.
- Carry out digital banking transactions such as NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and UPI.
- Work with bank officials to address and resolve banking matters efficiently.
Business and administrative support
- Draft financial summaries and business reports for management review.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial planning activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and financial institutions as needed.
- Contribute to GST and TDS compliance work and help improve finance-related processes.
Who can apply

Additional requirements
- Prior experience with multiple banking institutions is preferred.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is expected.
- Experience in coordinating with auditors and Chartered Accountants will be useful.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports and dashboards is required.
