Role overview
Killashee Hotel is looking to add a Yard Assistant to its hospitality team in Naas, County Kildare. This position is part of a workplace that focuses on guest experience, teamwork, and helping employees grow through training and career development. The successful person will work under the Purchasing Manager.
Key duties
- Keep the delivery yard tidy and well-organised.
- Ensure the bin area remains clean and orderly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all hotel store rooms.
- Remove bottle skips each day and make sure enough skips are available for the operations team.
- Follow the hotel’s waste sorting process for general, recyclable, and compostable waste.
- Compact all cardboard from the hotel.
- Receive deliveries and verify them against the delivery docket.
- Put stock away correctly, using first-in-first-out rotation principles.
- Move stock around the hotel as required.
