The business supports more than 600 corporate clients, ranging from early-stage companies to large multinational organizations, and oversees close to $200 billion in assets for around 650,000 employee participants. An opportunity is open for a motivated Business Development Representative to join the EMEA operations centre in Cork. This position is a key part of the B2B sales pipeline, with responsibility for reaching out to public companies across an assigned territory, presenting the platform, and arranging meetings with decision makers together with the local Field Sales Representative.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively contact public companies in order to build interest in the equity compensation management platform.
- Arrange and join virtual client meetings alongside the Field Sales Representative.
- Build a solid understanding of the platform and its value so it can be clearly explained to senior executives.
- Work closely with the sales team to shape outreach and engagement strategies.
- Keep CRM records current and accurate for all calls, meetings, and interactions.
- Use prospecting and networking tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator.
- Build productive relationships with J.P. Morgan bankers, advisors, and internal colleagues.
- Target 4 qualified meetings each month through phone outreach, networking, and electronic communication; leads are supplied.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage senior executives.
- Creative problem-solving ability combined with analytical thinking.
- A competitive, goal-driven approach with a strong focus on results.
- Financial awareness is an advantage, though it is not essential.
- Ability to perform independently as well as contribute effectively in a team setting.
- A college degree is required.
