Role overview

This part-time position combines warehouse support with customer-facing service tasks. The successful person will help with the everyday handling of gas cylinders and related equipment while also assisting customers and processing orders.

Working pattern

The standard schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There may be occasional additional hours when needed.

Core duties

In this role, you will contribute to smooth warehouse operations and customer service delivery.

• Handle, move, dispatch, and receive gas cylinders and associated equipment safely
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or collection
• Keep stock records accurate and maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
• Respond to customer questions, process phone orders, and serve customers at the counter

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will bring a helpful approach, good communication, and the ability to work safely in a physically active role.

• Strong customer service ability and a professional, helpful manner
• Good physical fitness for regular manual handling and heavy lifting
• An OSH forklift licence is preferred, though it is not mandatory
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge for order entry and stock management
• Solid understanding of workplace safety and proper manual handling methods
