Role overview
This role supports a fast-growing client service operations team with end-to-end payroll work in a busy, client-facing environment. It is a strong fit for someone who wants hands-on exposure to payroll operations and wants to develop in a high-paced setting.
What you'll do
- Run payroll operations for a nationwide client portfolio.
- Record client information and validate employee time records.
- Assist with payroll data imports and carry out quality checks when required.
- Handle client and employee questions, then work toward resolving payroll-related issues.
- Collaborate with payroll specialists and build working knowledge of the Prism payroll platform.
- Join remote meetings with clients and help support the KPIs expected for each account, based on client size, service level, and need.
- Support the overall health, upkeep, and retention of client relationships.
- Coordinate closely with clients and internal operational teams to maintain productive partnerships.
Skills and abilities
- Comfort handling multiple tasks at the same time.
- Careful, detail-focused approach to work.
- Strong personal organization.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
