Role Overview

This position is for a Unit Manager responsible for overseeing canteen operations at the Hail, Saudi Arabia site. The role focuses on managing accommodation and six satellite site canteens with a strong emphasis on catering quality, service consistency, food safety, and cost control.

Key Objective

The main purpose of the role is to ensure canteen and accommodation catering services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard, with proper control over food freshness, temperature, taste, cleanliness, and employee service experience. The position also requires minimizing food cost and wastage while maintaining service quality.

Candidate Profile

The company is seeking a candidate with solid experience in catering operations for large remote or industrial sites. The role requires familiarity with food safety systems, SAP-enabled environments, and the ability to lead service delivery while balancing quality, compliance, and financial discipline.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a well-regarded university, along with formal education in hotel management.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience in catering services for a comparable site environment with more than 750 residents, ideally within remote industrial or oil and gas operations.
• Exposure to computer systems and SAP-based work environments.
• Practical understanding of HACCP, Food Safety ISO 22000, and microbiology or pathogen-related risks.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Well-developed financial awareness, customer orientation, and a proactive, accountable, collaborative, and team-building mindset.
• Proven capability in achieving compliance with food safety, quality management, and environmental management standards, including ISO certification.
• Computer literacy with SAP exposure considered an advantage.
