Role overview

CARGO COUNTY GROUP is hiring a Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee day-to-day logistics operations in Bolton, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time position in the transportation and freight forwarding environment within the private sector.

What you will do

• Oversee the planning and coordination of the organization’s operational logistics.
• Work with other teams and departments to keep activities aligned.
• Prepare and file reports as needed.
• Monitor computer systems and machinery to help ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Schedule maintenance and repair activities when required.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, offer technical guidance, and suggest improvements that raise productivity and product quality.
• Train staff on their duties and company policies.
• Assign, coordinate, and review work performed by team members.
• Order or request materials, equipment, and supplies.

This role supervises a team of 3 to 4 people.
