Role Overview
This position is for a Mechanical Technician supporting the Heavy Section Mill (HSM) in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on keeping equipment reliable, reducing unplanned stoppages, and managing spare parts usage with a strong cost-conscious approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, preventive, corrective, and major maintenance tasks on equipment to improve output and reduce downtime.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns by diagnosing faults, supporting troubleshooting, and helping identify the underlying cause for corrective action.
- Handle mechanical maintenance issues in the Heavy Section Mill during failures and report any unusual conditions to supervisors so they can be addressed promptly.
- Inspect equipment to ensure work follows engineering standards and safety requirements.
Purpose of the Role
The main goal of this role is to support maintenance performance in the HSM by helping achieve production targets, improving mill availability, and controlling maintenance-related spare consumption.
