System Development Intern

Role overview

This internship is for a motivated candidate who wants practical exposure to system development in a fast-paced gaming technology setting. The position provides opportunities to work on full-stack application work, software testing, and technical documentation while collaborating with experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the build and upkeep of applications across the frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Work with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3 on the frontend.
• Assist with backend tasks using VB.NET, C#, and Web API.
• Handle database-related work with MS SQL.
• Take part in testing activities such as functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Help prepare and update technical documents, including development specifications, user guides, and test plans.
• Partner with developers, stakeholders, and business analysts to investigate and resolve issues.
• Join system design conversations and share input on usability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

• Currently studying for, or recently finished, a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and C#.
• Some familiarity with Web API development and common application testing approaches.
• Ability to produce clear, well-organized development documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
