Supporting Team Member (Security Operations)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Supporting Team Member to assist our Security Operations department. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of our security team, which includes Security Officers (SO), Senior Security Officers (SSO), and Security Supervisors (SS). You will play a key part in coordinating daily operations, ensuring adequate security coverage, and fostering a safe and secure environment for our retail operations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency and team development within a dynamic security setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Security Team, comprising Security Officers (SO), Senior Security Officers (SSO), and Security Supervisors (SS), in their day-to-day activities.
• Manage and coordinate the deployment of security personnel to ensure sufficient coverage across all shifts.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security staff on established procedures and incident management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold a secure and safe atmosphere within the retail premises.
• Aid the security management in enforcing company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
• Offer operational assistance during emergency situations, incidents, crowd management, and special events.
• Facilitate effective communication and promote teamwork among all security staff and store management.
• Observe and report on staff performance and any operational challenges to supervisors or management.
• Conduct team briefings and disseminate critical operational updates to the security team.
• Contribute to the training and professional growth of new security officers.
