Role overview
This opportunity is for experienced cybersecurity professionals who want to contribute to AI system development from anywhere and work on a schedule they set themselves. The work focuses on helping advanced AI models become more reliable when dealing with security-related topics and real-world threat scenarios.
The role is centered on using practical cyber expertise to check whether AI-generated security answers are accurate, useful, and grounded in real operations. Team members may use this as a side engagement alongside another full-time job, or as their primary professional focus.
How the work begins
After creating an account, candidates complete a brief assessment that acts as the selection step. Those who pass receive a confirmation email, and paid tasks are then made available through the platform.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-produced cybersecurity material, such as threat analyses, vulnerability reviews, and offensive security approaches, and judge whether the content is correct and practical.
- Create and solve technical security tasks that help train AI systems.
- Produce concise technical write-ups and security-related code where needed.
- Share feedback that influences how future AI security models respond and reason.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of practical experience in cybersecurity, including areas such as penetration testing, red teaming, incident response, detection engineering, DFIR, malware analysis, threat intelligence, or related government or military cyber work.
- Working coding ability, including the confidence to move through and modify an existing codebase.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, plus solid writing skills.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, GREM, GCFA, CEH, or similar are considered advantageous.
Contract and payment details
This is an independent contractor arrangement. Pay is issued through PayPal, and applicants are never asked to pay any fees. Projects are billed hourly, with rates starting at $50 to $100+ per hour, and some assignments may include bonus pay. Workers can choose which projects they accept and when they work, using their own computer from home.
