Role Summary
The Shift Supervisor position is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. This role leads store partners throughout shifts, upholds Starbucks standards for service, cleanliness, and product quality, and supports the smooth running of everyday store operations. The position also involves coaching team members, helping maintain an inclusive work culture, and addressing customer concerns in a calm and professional way.
Key Duties
- Guide and support store partners during shifts to keep operations running efficiently.
- Ensure customers receive consistently high service in line with Starbucks expectations.
- Maintain standards for product quality, store cleanliness, and overall presentation.
- Handle opening and closing tasks, cash management, and other daily operational procedures.
- Coordinate break schedules and assign tasks to team members as needed.
- Train, coach, and encourage partners to improve performance and confidence.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment.
- Resolve customer issues thoughtfully and professionally.
- Help the store achieve goals related to sales, safety, and partner engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Background in customer service, retail, or food service with the ability to help create a friendly and efficient setting.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate shifts, and support others through coaching or mentoring.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for working with customers, partners, and store leaders.
- Comfort with basic math, accurate cash handling, and following procedures carefully.
- Must be able to work on-site in Prince Albert, SK and perform standing and other physical duties for extended periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and available for flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Supervisory experience is beneficial; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
