Role overview
Draken is hiring Senior First Officers to join its Lear XR60 and Challenger 604 aircraft operations in Saudi Arabia. These fleets are permanently stationed in the country and support the Royal Saudi Air Force contract. The role offers the chance to contribute to the development of airborne operations from the early stages, with the mission support capability expected to expand toward an advanced electronic warfare platform.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure flights are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with aviation regulations and internal procedures.
- Support the Commander across all stages of flight in line with company standard operating procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and perform specialist flying profiles, including formation operations.
- Work closely with other crew members to meet mission goals while maintaining strong professional standards.
- Develop positive working relationships with teammates and customers and protect Draken’s standard of excellence.
- Take prompt and appropriate action in emergency situations when needed.
- Hold the required pilot qualifications for a UK CAA Part-CAT operator, including a CPL or ATPL and aircraft-specific certification suitable for First Officer duties.
Experience, skills, and qualifications
- UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A).
- Current UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate.
- At least 1,500 hours of total flying time.
- Jet experience is preferred.
- Current or previously held Multi-Engine IR.
- MCC course completed.
- AUPRT course completed.
- Ability to obtain and keep UK MOD security clearance, subject to nationality restrictions.
