Role Overview
The company is looking for a Software Asset Management (SAM) professional based in Noida, with 7 to 15 years of experience. The role calls for strong expertise in software licensing, audit readiness, compliance, and cloud licensing across platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will prepare ELPs on a regular basis to improve return on investment and support cost optimization. The role also involves daily work with Snow Atlas and Snow for Engineering, along with careful review of intricate licensing agreements and contractual terms. A major part of the job will be to reduce risk by lowering renewal expenses, identifying savings opportunities, and analyzing license usage and spend patterns.
Experience and Skill Requirements
Applicants should bring at least 3 years of direct SAM experience, plus strong working knowledge of enterprise software licensing. The role also requires audit and compliance expertise, familiarity with cloud licensing, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities. Candidates must be able to juggle multiple priorities under pressure, influence and motivate others, build strong customer relationships, and manage work in an ordered and efficient way.
Desirable Qualifications
Relevant SAM or licensing certifications are preferred, and an ITIL Foundation qualification would be an advantage.
