Role overview
As a Sales Development Representative for the DACH region, you will report to the Market Development Manager EU and support TraceGains’ growth across Europe by initiating valuable conversations with prospective customers. The position is not limited to creating pipeline; it also involves understanding customer pain points, helping shape market messaging, and building relationships that can last in a fast-moving industry.
You will work remotely within the EMEA region, with preference for candidates located in Germany, Austria, the UK, or Ireland. The role sits within a collaborative international setup where marketing, product, and sales teams work closely together, and where your input can directly influence go-to-market direction.
What you will do
- Research target accounts and identify new opportunities using structured market intelligence methods and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Demandbase.
- Create and execute tailored outbound strategies for each account, using a thoughtful account-based approach.
- Book and qualify meetings that can develop into real pipeline and longer-term customer value.
- Work closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to improve messaging and campaign performance.
- Represent TraceGains at events and webinars as a brand ambassador for the DACH market.
- Keep building knowledge of the industry and product so you can speak confidently with stakeholders in Quality, R&D, Procurement, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
- Contribute experience and insight to account-based marketing initiatives.
What the company is looking for
TraceGains is seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience in MDR/SDR, B2B sales, or marketing, ideally within SaaS or the CPG/food industry. You should have a clear track record of successful outbound prospecting and winning new customers.
Strong German communication skills are essential, either native-level or business-fluent, along with very good English. The role also requires familiarity with CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, and Outreach. Travel within the DACH region and occasionally internationally should be acceptable, around 1 to 3 days per month.
