About the company

Tandem Health is a rapidly growing health-tech business focused on giving clinicians better tools and more time for patient care. Its platform is created with direct input from clinicians and is designed to address real-world workflow and documentation challenges in healthcare.

The company is expanding internationally, is supported by leading investors, and values speed, curiosity, and purpose-driven work.

Role overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate new business by finding, contacting, and qualifying potential healthcare customers across the DACH region. You will be the initial commercial contact for prospects and will contribute directly to the company’s sales pipeline.

You will partner with Account Executives, Marketing, and leadership to secure qualified meetings, learn about customer pain points, and support growth in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

This position is suited to candidates who want to develop a career in SaaS and healthcare technology sales, with scope to move into Account Executive, Business Development, or Sales Leadership roles over time.

Key responsibilities

  • Reach out to prospective customers through outbound methods such as cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted account research.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of healthcare providers, clinics, medical practices, and other healthcare organizations within your territory.
  • Assess prospects by learning about their processes, pain points, and current administrative workflows.
  • Arrange discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives.
  • Keep CRM records current and ensure pipeline data is accurate and well maintained.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to sharpen messaging, improve outreach, and support territory planning.
  • Collect customer insights and market feedback to strengthen go-to-market decisions.
  • Serve as a professional first impression for Tandem in conversations with potential customers.

What success in the role looks like

  • Consistently creating qualified opportunities for the commercial team.
  • Building a healthy pipeline in the assigned territory.
  • Meeting outbound activity and appointment-generation goals.
  • Making a strong first impression that reflects the company’s mission and values.
  • Gaining a solid understanding of the healthcare market and customer needs.

Candidate profile

  • Some prior experience in sales, business development, customer success, recruitment, hospitality, healthcare, or another customer-facing role.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence speaking with decision-makers by phone, email, and video.
  • Strong resilience, curiosity, and self-drive.
  • A disciplined approach to outreach and follow-up management.
  • Interest in healthcare, digital health, SaaS, or technology-led innovation.
  • A growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
  • Native-level German and professional-level English.

Preferred background

  • Hands-on experience with outbound sales, lead generation, cold calling, or appointment setting.
  • Exposure to healthcare providers, medical practices, clinics, or healthcare software.
  • Comfort using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Previous work in SaaS, digital health, medtech, or startup settings.
  • Experience in a high-growth company with ambitious commercial goals.

Location and working style

This role is remote, with occasional travel to the Munich office. The company values in-person collaboration while still offering flexibility to work from afar.

Career growth

As the company expands across Europe, strong SDR performers may take on broader responsibilities and grow alongside the business.

Application process

Applications are reviewed continuously, and candidates are asked to submit a CV in English.

The interview process has four stages: a screening interview with Talent Acquisition, an interview with a Sales team member, a second interview with the Country Director for Germany, and a working day in the Munich office to experience the team and show how you work.

Culture

Tandem’s culture is fast-paced, ambitious, and ownership-driven. The team is diverse, high-performing, and motivated by the goal of improving healthcare.

The company emphasizes action, learning, and personal growth. Team members are encouraged to take initiative, challenge themselves, and contribute from day one.

Although the team works across countries, members meet regularly in Sweden for team meetings, social events, and offsites to combine global reach with strong personal connection.

Tandem hires for talent, potential, and attitude, and values varied backgrounds and fresh perspectives.

Additional requirements

Because the company works with sensitive patient information, a background check will be completed before any hiring decision is finalized.
