Role overview
Gulf Ocean Lights LLC is a fast-growing distributor of electrical products across the GCC, offering cables, lighting, wiring devices, fans, switchgear, and related accessories. The company works with a broad and expanding portfolio of well-known international brands and is looking for a Sales Coordinator to strengthen day-to-day sales support.
This role is based in National Industries Park, Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE. The working schedule is six days a week, from Monday to Saturday. Immediate joining is preferred.
What you will do
- Support the assigned Sales Executive with routine administrative and operational tasks.
- Draft, check, and process quotations, sales orders, proforma invoices, tax invoices, and other related sales documents within required timelines.
- Work with warehouse and logistics teams to track order progress, available stock, dispatch planning, and delivery schedules.
- Keep customers and internal sales teams updated on order confirmations, delivery status, and shipment movement.
- Update and maintain customer details, quotations, pricing data, and sales records in the ERP system.
- Respond to customer questions, resolve standard issues, and route more complex concerns to the Sales Manager or the relevant department.
- Follow company procedures, pricing rules, and sales policies in every transaction.
- Help the sales team meet department targets through effective coordination and communication.
- Carry out other coordination and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales coordination or sales support, ideally in electrical trading, construction materials, MEP, industrial supplies, or a similar distribution business.
- Prior use of ERP or accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Tally, or comparable software is an advantage.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of quotation handling, order management, and customer coordination.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage several priorities and stay effective under pressure.
- A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments.
