Role overview

Holland & Barrett is looking for a part-time Retail Assistant to join the team at Market Cross Shopping Centre in Kilkenny, County Kilkenny. This is a permanent store role with a working pattern of 12 hours per week, paid at €14.70 per hour.

In this position, you will represent the brand as a health and wellness ambassador, helping customers make informed choices and creating a positive in-store experience. Key duties

Your day-to-day work will include serving as a trusted point of contact for shoppers, keeping the store looking presentable, and helping promotions run effectively. You will also support high standards in compliance, safety, and overall store appearance.

As part of the role, you will complete the Qualified to Advise training, which is designed to help you guide customers with confidence and product knowledge. You will also recommend products and solutions, collaborate with colleagues to meet store goals, and contribute to strong overall results.

About you

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in health and wellness. You should enjoy learning, work well in a team, and be able to juggle multiple tasks while staying organised.

Comfort with technology is important, as you will use tablets to review products and help with solutions. Prior retail or customer-facing experience can be helpful, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
