Role Overview
As a Repairs Estimator, you will spot opportunities for repair work, prepare quotations for those jobs, and work with customers to secure chargeable orders. You will also coordinate with service and account managers in regional offices to increase repair order conversion and prepare completed repair packages for handover to the appropriate Repairs Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine maintenance reports and engineer notes to uncover potential repair work.
- Produce precise and prompt quotations for repair projects and insurance-related requests.
- Follow up with customers to make sure quotations are received, reviewed, and clearly understood.
- Turn quotations into confirmed orders by earning trust and proposing practical solutions.
- Assist with administrative duties in the regional service office, including answering and handling calls.
Candidate Profile
The role calls for prior experience in the lift industry, preferably in a sales or estimating position. You should be confident working with people, able to communicate effectively, and skilled at building strong client relationships. Good organization and the ability to juggle several tasks in a busy environment are important, along with competence using IT tools and systems connected to quoting and customer management.
