Role overview

Save-On-Foods, part of Pattison Food Group Ltd., is seeking a Regulated Pharmacy Technician for its Bridgwater store in Winnipeg, Manitoba. What you will do

• Take verbal prescriptions from authorized prescribers and document them accurately.
• Move prescriptions to and from other pharmacies when required.
• Verify that each prescription is genuine and fully complete.
• Carry out the final accuracy check on prepared prescriptions.
• Handle the technical steps involved in dispensing medications.
• Support day-to-day dispensary work as well as front store over-the-counter operations.
• Deliver friendly, customer-first service at all times.
• Follow merchandising standards, operating procedures, and company policies.
• Oversee and guide Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in dispensary tasks.
• Complete additional duties assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

What we are looking for

• Strong communication abilities and a proven customer service mindset.
• A valid Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing with the relevant College of Pharmacists.
• Experience in a pharmacy dispensary or familiarity with Kroll software is considered an advantage.
