Role overview
The Regional Business Controller for Digital, Marketing and Communications is accountable for shaping financial strategy across the region’s digital channels and helping optimize omnichannel marketing spend to support sustainable growth for COS. The role partners closely with business leaders and acts as a trusted financial advisor, while also making sure corporate governance standards are consistently followed.
This position reports to the Regional Brand Controller in the Singapore regional office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and KPI development for digital, marketing and communications, turning business goals into clear targets and practical action plans.
- Manage and improve the allocation of omnichannel marketing investment across the funnel to support conversion, traffic online and in stores, and return on investment, while balancing brand and commercial priorities.
- Work as a strategic partner to regional and global stakeholders across marketing, communications, e-commerce, merchandising and customer intelligence to align on strategy, priorities, financial plans and performance outcomes.
- Maintain strong financial governance, ensure compliance with corporate processes including tenders, and deliver insights, KPI analysis and recommendations that improve decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead the regional e-commerce controlling team, develop capability, improve tools and ways of working, and help create a collaborative, high-performing and people-focused environment.
What you need to succeed
- Solid command of profit and loss management, budgeting, forecasting and key performance drivers in digital and marketing environments.
- Ability to turn data, trends and performance signals into practical strategies that support growth, profitability and brand impact.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across functions and regions.
- Excellent analytical ability to interpret complex information, identify meaningful patterns and present clear recommendations.
- Careful attention to compliance, accuracy and consistency in financial processes, systems and reporting.
- Proven leadership skills in coaching, developing and building capability within a regional, cross-market team.
- Ability to contribute to long-term brand strategy through a financial perspective.
- Interest in consumer behaviour and market changes.
