Role Snapshot

We are hiring a seasoned recruiter to drive high-volume, project-led hiring across a wide regional territory. The focus will be on several business areas, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and related functions. This position suits someone who enjoys fast-moving environments, complex stakeholder networks, and delivering quality hires against demanding timelines.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end hiring for multiple roles, starting with the intake conversation and continuing through offer acceptance across a large multi-state region.
  • Work with regional and senior leaders, including VP-level partners, to shape and execute hiring plans that support business growth.
  • Handle a heavy requisition load while protecting candidate quality, candidate experience, and speed of hire.
  • Build effective working relationships across teams and functions in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Act quickly and accurately when priorities shift and deadlines are tight.
  • Design sourcing approaches that attract strong talent across different markets and locations.
  • Share hiring market intelligence, such as compensation movement, competitor activity, and talent availability by region.
  • Create structured interview processes that are repeatable and support efficient, consistent hiring decisions.
  • Identify risks early and remove obstacles that could delay hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with HR, compensation, onboarding, and recruiting operations teams to keep the hiring process smooth across the region.
  • Monitor recruiting performance data such as pipeline health, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance, then use those insights for reporting and decision-making.

Experience and Skills Needed

  • At least 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with exposure to a wide mix of roles such as sales, operations, and finance.
  • Successful experience hiring across large geographic areas and coordinating with distributed stakeholders.
  • Strong history of managing high-volume recruiting work while meeting ambitious deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities, including partnership with senior business leaders.
  • Comfort working in complex, fast-paced, highly matrixed settings.
  • Advanced sourcing and talent mapping skills across multiple markets.
  • Solid commercial understanding, especially in sales and business development environments.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Clear communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Additional Requirements

  • You must be legally able to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship.
  • You should be based in Chicago, Illinois, or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate for the duration of the assignment.

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience in project-based recruiting, contract recruiting, or RPO models is preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting analytics tools will be an advantage.
