Abbott Ireland Nutrition, Sligo
The Sligo nutrition site develops science-led products designed to support people of all ages. Role Overview
As a Quality Coordinator, you will join the site quality function and help ensure product quality and compliance within the Abbott Carbury Point manufacturing environment. This is an evening-shift position running Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 00:00, and Friday from 15:00 to 22:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out in-process and final sampling and testing of manufactured goods.
- Manage documentation related to in-process work orders.
- Maintain and operate the electronic document management system.
- Support different teams with quality, technical, documentation, and other related issues.
- Assist with CAPA investigations and the development of correction and corrective action plans.
- Support internal and supplier audit activities.
- Compile metrics and coordinate reporting.
- Coordinate the retain sample and stability sample programs.
- Provide laboratory support when appropriately trained.
- Help ensure environmental, health, and safety standards are followed at all times.
- Comply with EHS regulations and site procedures, and take part in Abbott’s EHS program.
- Report any work-related injury or illness to employee health and support the investigation process.
- Attend EHS training and actively contribute to EHS initiatives as assigned.
Education and Experience
Applicants should have a Leaving Certificate or A-level education, along with at least 3 years of work experience.
Additional Conditions
