Role Summary

This full-time, on-site role in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is focused on safeguarding product and process quality. The Quality Assurance professional will assess production activities against internal standards and regulatory obligations, track and improve quality records, carry out inspections and testing, spot deviations, and partner with other teams to execute corrective and preventive measures. The position also includes involvement in internal audits, support for quality management systems, and participation in continuous improvement efforts. Close coordination with operations, production, and leadership is expected to help strengthen the organization’s quality mindset.

Key Duties

  • Track production processes and confirm that products and operations comply with agreed quality standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain, review, and update quality-related documentation and records.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify issues, defects, and process nonconformities.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Take part in internal audits and assist with external audit readiness and support where needed.
  • Help manage and improve the quality management system, including policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to plan and carry out internal quality audits and support external audit activities.
  • A relevant degree in Garment Engineering, Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability for identifying root causes and recommending fixes.
  • Good teamwork, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic exposure to data analysis and reporting tools such as spreadsheets and quality reports is beneficial.
