Role overview
A public sector client is seeking a capable Project Officer to join its team for an initial 12-month assignment, with the option to extend beyond that period. The position is being offered through an agency arrangement and is based in Dublin, with a flexible working model that combines onsite attendance and hybrid working. The successful candidate must be available to visit client locations when required.
Working arrangement and pay
This role requires 35 hours per week. The pay is €31.70 per hour, which equates to an annualised salary of €57,898. The appointee will receive 30 days of annual leave each year, along with paid bank holidays.
Key duties
- Assist the Community Care Record team during the implementation stage of the programme.
- Work in coordination with the six Health Regions to help deliver the Digital for Care Framework.
- Engage regularly with a broad mix of national and regional stakeholders.
- Help prepare, update, and maintain project planning documents and related artefacts.
- Support the rollout of programme and change-management processes, including tools and templates.
- Manage administrative and clerical elements of project activity to keep operations running smoothly.
- Contribute to assigned workstreams and project tasks so the programme can use resources effectively across the contract period.
Experience and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in community services, including hands-on delivery of projects within an organisation, clearly shown in the application.
- Practical experience with project planning, report preparation, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and other project management tools.
- Proven ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, also clearly evidenced in the submission.
- Clinical background or experience working within clinical teams would be beneficial.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, confidently, and in a logical way.
- Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders and partner organisations to increase project impact.
- Ability to quickly establish effective working relationships with varied stakeholder groups.
- Solid ICT, administration, presentation, and report-writing capabilities.
- Capability to help shape and deliver project plans.
- Ability to work with other project or programme teams to ensure delivery stays coordinated and well planned.
- Experience supporting change implementation and business process reorganisation.
- Commitment to quality outcomes, including experience evaluating service delivery.
- Ability to carry out business analysis tasks as needed for the project.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated approach with a clear willingness to take responsibility.
