Project Manager

Role Overview

IPS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Dublin office in Ireland. The organization delivers consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV services for technically demanding facilities, with a strong focus on the life sciences sector.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects, from smaller retrofit work to large greenfield developments. In this position, you will coordinate engineering activities tied to project delivery, manage communication between client teams and internal stakeholders, and help guide manpower planning and technical resource allocation.

Key Duties

• Drive project outcomes so that scope, budget, schedule, and quality targets are met.
• Support business development by joining pre-bid meetings and helping prepare proposals with department leaders, directors, and other key stakeholders.
• Spot project risks early and work with senior leadership to reduce or resolve them.
• Oversee scope management and ensure any scope changes are properly documented and communicated to the client.
• Prepare and maintain project records such as meeting notes, action logs, needs lists, execution plans, monthly financial and schedule updates, and any additional reporting requested by the client.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience delivering projects, including a minimum of 5 years in a project management position.
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or another related discipline, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Background in manufacturing facility design within the life sciences field.
• Previous construction experience.
• Working knowledge of earned value management and other project control techniques.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with IPS and client safety requirements.

Work Environment and Safety

• Travel may be required depending on the project and its location.
• This is a safety-sensitive role.
• The employee will be assigned to field work and will attend client sites, including construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, and other non-administrative areas.
